1st route: Aiello, Strassoldo, Clauiano, Palmanova

Palmanova the star-shaped city: a fascinating, elegant, picturesque Venetian fortress built by the Republic of Venice at the end of the 16th century to defend against the Turkish invasions. The first village to visit on this bike route is Strassoldo , with its ancient hamlet, Castello di Sotto and Castello di Sopra, to see the Castles and the ancient church in Vinis.

From Strassoldo you reach Aiello, a village of sundials where we can ride our bikes through villages and streets to admire over 100 sundials painted on the walls. Don't miss a visit to the Courtyard of Sundials located inside the Museum of Rural Life.

Passing through Nogaredo al Torre, don't miss the village of Arciduca where you can see the enchanting 18th-century Villa Gorgo with its large restored stable. And finally Clauiano, one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy, with its typical doors and courtyards transformed into agritourism businesses where you can buy fine vintage wines.
